All residential students are welcome to bring a car to campus and register for a parking permit. Although many residential students may enjoy having a car on campus, it is not a necessity. All residential and commuter students wishing to bring a car must be sure to complete the online Parking Registration Form.  This form should be completed before the first day of class in order to avoid receiving a parking ticket. Residential students and commuter students each have designated parking lots that they must park in. More information about specific parking lots is given out after a student registers for their parking permit. The standard OPT period is a cumulative maximum of 12 months. Part-time OPT is deducted from the 12-month limit at 50%. You will need a valid travel signature on your I-20 from the PDSO in order to re-enter the United States. We will also look over your immigration documents and ensure that your SEVIS record is in “Active” status. For F-1 students, the travel signature is located on page 2 of your I-20 document under “Travel Endorsement”. The signature is valid for one year from the date it was signed. If you have any questions or concerns regarding travel, you are encouraged to speak with the PDSO several weeks prior to your departure. There is always risk involved with international travel. However, you can reduce your risk by planning ahead and carrying the proper documentation.

What can the funds be used for? The Computer Study Center, located in the lower level, contains 16 computers reserved for the use of Eureka College students, faculty, and staff. Reference area computers are open to the public. Reference computers contain access to the library’s online catalog, electronic book and journal databases, and world wide web access. There is no up-front charge to print information from the computers in the reference area and Computer Study Center. The cost of printing will be deducted from students’ individual printing accounts monitored by computer services. Public patrons may print at a cost of 5 cents a page. Network Accounts For both exiting and for graduating students, network accounts are typically removed from the system 30 days after you graduate or after your exit date.    Email Accounts Exiting students have the option to keep their Eureka College e-mail account for 30 days after your exit date.  After that time, your account will be removed from the system. Eureka College graduates can keep their existing e-mail address for 12 months past graduation.  After that time, accounts will be deleted.  Logging in is the same way, and if you have any issues you can still contact the Help Desk. Remember, as per the EC Network Acceptable Use Agreement, any e-mail account that is inactive for at least three months is subject to deletion from the system.

Presentation Guidelines     Presentations should follow the same general idea: Empirical research presentations are 15 minutes each, including time for questions. You will need your own device for presenting with an HDMI port to connecting to the classroom overhead projectors. PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS: PRE-PHARMACY Pre-pharmacy students should take a Chemistry major, with Medicinal Chemistry (CHM310) and Biochemistry (CHM321) taken as the upper-divisional electives. A $100 housing deposit gives priority for housing placement in our residence halls. The preferred deadline is April 1. The refundable housing deposit is required to move into campus housing. There is a Campus Housing Request Form to complete as well.

Central Illinois Riding Therapy is also looking for volunteers. Their mission is to therapeutically help their patients through the experience of riding horses.
