Find Your Major

Designed with the artist and art-lover in mind, the Art Major offers the opportunity for exploration in a variety of techniques and media choices. Drawing, painting, illustration, design photography, clay and sculpture are some of the courses made for diverse media exploration.
Art majors and minors also experience courses in art history, gallery studies, and special topics opportunities that provide a foundation where history and contemporary issues merge.
Our goal is to help each student find their own expressive voice by exploring individual options and career goals unique to each.
Art majors enjoy hosting their own solo senior Art exhibit, providing them with an opportunity to produce, or curate and display work centered on their own special theme or interest.
