

Mark Rutledge ’06
Vice President and Head of Research Product Management
Mark Rutledge is Vice President and Head of Research Product Management at Moody's Investors Service. He leads a team focused on creating and delivering advanced digital and data products for global capital market participants and investors. Mark joined Moody’s in 2013 after working as a management consultant at Deloitte and Accenture where he advised Fortune 500 companies across technology, financial services and in the areas of strategy, operations as well as product development & marketing. He also worked as a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where he advised US Federal agencies and departments on transition planning and fiscal management policies. Mark took a short break from consulting to build and manage a tech start-up company that offered small and medium-sized businesses products and tools for social media marketing.
While at Eureka College, Mark interned as a Public Policy Associate in the administration of Linda Lingle, Governor of Hawai’i in Honolulu. He also served as Student Body President. Following his graduation from Eureka he was the Technology and Energy Policy Fellow at The Greenlining Institute in Berkeley, California. Mark earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science & History from Eureka College in 2006 and was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2017. He earned his Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2009 where he was a Public Policy & International Affairs Fellow.
Mark is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has served on the Board of Directors of the NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault as Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of The Greenlining Institute as a member of the Investment Committee. Additionally Mark is the co-chair of Bridging the Gap, a mentorship program partnership between Moody's Corporation and Big Brothers Big Sisters modeled on President Obama's "My Brother's Keeper" initiative. A proud native of Detroit, Michigan he currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Katherine.
