Clint is a local native to the Tri-County area. He grew up in Pekin in Tazewell County. He graduated from Pekin High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish from Eureka College. Clint graduated from Harvard University’s Trade Union Program and is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
Clint is a 21 year member of Laborers’ Local 231 beginning his career working for local companies on building and highway projects. He was hired by the Laborers’ International Union Midwest Region based in Springfield, Illinois in 2002. After nine years of employment with the Laborers, he was successful in applying for the position of Associate Director of the West Central Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council. He worked as the associate for five years until January 2016 he assumed the position of Executive Director.
Clint has been involved with numerous volunteer projects and fundraising efforts, as well as serving on many boards and commissions throughout the region. A few boards on which he is currently active are, Alignment Peoria, Peoria Area Diversity in Employment Action Team, CEO Council, Heart of Illinois United Way, and the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council executive board. Clint was awarded the 40 under 40 Class of 2015. He is married and has three wonderful children.
