Dr. Arto Woodley
Vice President for Advancement
As the Vice President of Advancement at Eureka College, I lead a dynamic team of advancement professionals to elevate alumni engagement and giving to expand opportunities for first generation students. With over 20 years of experience in the social sector, higher education, and government, I have developed a passion for promoting philanthropy, fostering community engagement, and advancing engaged scholarship.
My academic background includes an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Widener University, where I conducted research on faculty-centered approaches to engaged scholarship. I also hold an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University, where I started my career as a student recruiter for diversity and inclusion. I am a Fellow of the University of California Berkeley's Higher Education Executive Leadership Academy and a White House Strong Cities Strong Communities Fellow. I have published multiple articles and manuals on topics related to community development, mentorship, and civic responsibility. My mission is to serve as a catalyst for positive change and innovation in higher education and beyond.
